C's

The Grand Miami Heat defeated the Boston Celtics 93-79 at American Airlines Arena last night with 32 points and 13 rebounds from Lebron James and 22 points from Dwyane Wade. Shane Battier added 10 points and 10 rebounds and the Heat ended up with 11 blocks at the end of the night. Kevin Garnett contributed 23 points and 10 rebounds for the Celtics, while Rondo filled out the stat sheet as usual despite struggling with 16 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists. Paul Pierce added 12 while Ray Allen shot just 1-7 from the floor.

Spo goes with a starting lineup of Turiaf and Battier along with the usual suspects, opting to continue bringing Udonis Haslem off the bench.

Some of our more delicious and/or noticeable moments included:

Early, Rondo with an unconscionable flop off the screen.

A breakaway for the Heat and a dunk, all minor arguments in Heat households are quelled as we are united in Lebron.

Sweet Chalmie alley-oop to BronBron

Battier makes the redemption 3, hitting the exact same shot he had just missed, after a Heat offensive rebound. Gotta love the second opportunity score as a fan of basketball in general and the Heat in particular.

Wade makes a great pass to Miller for three after driving the baseline and drawing two defenders. Miller goes for another and the crowd loves it.

A Turiaf offensive rebound. He’s lovable

Lebron brickpass to Joel Anthony.

Rondo is covering Wade after starting with 4 turnovers and 0 field goals. We need to wear him out on defense.

I’m calling for some LBJ and D. Wade on the same play, and get it shortly after with a Gorgeous Drive by Wade to Lebron deep down inside! Yes, they listened!

LBJ blocks Rondo, that’s what I like to see, Battier on one side of Rondo, Lebron on the other.

Chalmers has ups on that breakaway dunk from Battier’s steal off Paul Pierce.

Love the LBJ hook shots. Wade distributes to Anthony successfully.

Rondo appears to nail Wade in the balls, sadly. Wade with an amazing hook from the free throw line and a holler to go along with it as well. Booyakasha!

Joel Anthony prances down to defend Rondo on the breakaway, Spo expectedly calls timeout.

“It’s OK to laugh” – life lessons from Jeff Van Gundy

Amazing legendary Wade shake

Haha Lebron taunts KG by holding the ball out right in front of his face after a score, daring him to earn another technical foul. Classic. Earlier Garnett was assessed a technical for tapping the ball out of a Heat player’s hand after a Celtics score.

Haslem knows the good foul, preventing a dunk.

Wade – smooth stepback high arc jumper

A Brutal Battier Bank does them in for good.
(Wait! Lebron and Wade have 54 and we need them to have 70 to win)

Love the fullcourt passes. Tune in next time folks. Did I say Heat in 4? Heat in 4. Or 5, Or 6. But I think the Heat will win every game. It’s an affliction I have. That I don’t want cured. Heat in 4.
